I am an extrovert, honest and direct but gentle. I\'m the eldest and only girl in my family. Some call me a social butterfly :) I am sassy, witty and have a sense of humor... can you banter with me? Also don\'t let these pictures fool ya... I like to put on sweats and my Jordans too! Money and muscles are nice but they don\'t impress me- intellect, great work ethic, discipline and a kind heart does. I know that the quality and degrees of education vary for different reasons but grammar matters to me... I work full-time for a Medicaid program which aims to improve the health outcomes of low-income New Yorkers. I participate in a prison ministry team that serves jails, state prisons and federal prisons. I am earning a masters in Pastoral Care and Counseling and will be completing a chaplaincy certification program. Music: I listen to a lot of genres in English. . Books: The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho The 5 Love Languages by Gary Chapman My counseling textbooks :) Shows: Insecure (HBO) The Marvel series on #censurado# (with the exception of Jessica Jones- what a disappointment). Shades of Blue Movies: I enjoy movies with great cinematography... My favorite movies include Moonrise Kingdom, Maleficent, Water for Elephants, Hoodlum and Paid in Full. I can\'t watch scary movies alone and it can\'t be late at night. Collateral Beauty was great. Definitely cried watching it... smh, I know! Food: Dominican, Japanese, Mexican & Italian I like French wine & cheeses but that\'s about it for French food. Since I\'m from the Caribbean, I enjoy dishes from the neighboring islands but I\'m not about that jerk or curry life- it\'s too spicy!! lol |
